"In the event of your failure, this office shall be bound to initiate proceedings for breach of undertaking and contravention of a court order in terms of Article 204 of the Constitution of Pakistan read with Section 3 of the Contempt of Court Ordinance, 2003 . ,” the letter further reads.

The letter informed the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly that in order to initiate the process in light of the Lahore High Court order dated November 16, 2019, the Punjab Government was requested to constitute a Medical Board to examine the documents . The letter further stated that the Special Medical Board has observed that the attached photocopied documents (29 pages) contain any information regarding current clinical assessment, blood report, imaging results and any interventional procedure undertaken so far (Nawaz Sharif). do not provide.

"Therefore, the Special Medical Board is not in a position to give any structured advice or a considered opinion to the Competent Authority regarding his present physical condition and ability to travel in the light of the available information," the letter from the AG's office said. The AG's office further wrote that the observations of the Special Medical Board make it clear that it has not fulfilled its obligation to provide periodic medical reports of the doctor as per your solemn promise and court order.
