Former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst’s death formally ruled a suicide

As People reports, the untimely death of former Miss USA Chesley Crist on January 30 has been officially ruled as a suicide following an autopsy.

The news was confirmed by the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The 30-year-old model, lawyer and an additional correspondent died after falling from a New York apartment.

According to reports, she lived in the ninth floor of the apartment, though she was last seen on the 29th floor terrace.

Hours before her death, Krist shared her dazzling photo on Instagram with a cryptic note that read, "May this day bring you comfort and peace."

After Krist's tragic death, the Miss Universe organization remembered her for her "kind" spirit.

"She was one of the brightest, warmest and kindest people we've had the privilege to know, and has entered every room. Our entire community mourns her loss, and our thoughts and prayers for her during this time." The family is with us. Difficult times," it said in a statement.
