Gigi Hadid has been describing the good and the bad for the past year.
Speaking to InStyle Magazine for its March issue, the 26-year-old supermodel gushed over her one-year-old daughter Khai and the devastating breakup with Zayn Malik.
The mother-in-law says that Khai is "so smart" and "so aware".
"She watches everything, she's always learning, she's always watching. She's awesome," Gigi says.
"I still can't believe it. It's wild," she adds, being a mom. "A lot of my mom's friends feel that way, and we're close for the first few years [with your kids]. You're obsessed with them, but sometimes you turn around and you're like, 'Oh my god. 'Where did you come from?' ,
Speaking about her split with on-and-off boyfriend Zayn Malik, Gigi agreed that one should look for positivity during tough situations.
“I have been reminded that when we do get time with people, we really appreciate it and take it all in and try not to take the moments away. Even if something difficult So find something beautiful in it," she said.
The model finds it challenging to combine her career and motherhood, but says it's essential to her personal health.
"Well, I'm still trying to learn, being a mom and letting myself rest. Maybe I'm better at it with work," she concluded.
