Aljamain Sterling believes he did better than many believed in his UFC 259 fight with Petr Yan.
In the weeks before their rematch at UFC 273, Sterling and Yan traded barbs. The interim bantamweight champion has been accused of taking performance-enhancing drugs by 'The Funk Master'.
Sterling responded to Yan's tweet about being randomly tested by USADA:
"Good. Test the rat more often."
A fan then raged, claiming that the current bantamweight champion was being badly beaten before the Russian was disqualified, landing on Yan's illegal knee. Sterling brushes off the fan point, claiming he has won every fight with 'No Mercy':
"I came out on top every round." "It's clear that you didn't pay attention to the fight."
At UFC 259, Aljaman Sterling fought against Petr Yan for the first time. When 'No Mercy' had his knee out illegally, Sterling was unable to continue.
