Actor Sebastian Stan is set to star in the Star Wars franchise if he is offered the role.
In a recent interview with Esquire, I, Tonya Starr talked about the prospect of securing a starring role in the Star Wars universe, to which she said, "Look, it's really kind. Never Say Never."
He also joked about his close acquaintance with 70-year-old Mark Hamill, the legendary actor who originally brought Luke Skywalker to life.
"Mark Hamill is my father, you know, and he knows," quipped Stan, "I call him every Christmas to tell him, 'Just want you to know I'm around. Really terrifying."
This isn't the first time that Stan has hinted and joked about possibly being a part of Star Wars; In a March 2021 appearance on Good Morning America, he explicitly stated that Hamill would be up for a role if approached.
"Well, if Mark Hamill calls to tell me personally that he's willing to share this role with me, I'll believe it. Until then, I won't believe it."
