Johnny Depp opens up on 'the lowest point of his life'

Depp said he was begging Amber for medicine and 'crying on the floor' before rolling off the couch

Johnny Depp, testifying in a defamation lawsuit against ex-wife, has told court that Amber Heard was "the lowest point of my life" by 'begging' for drugs.

The Hollywood star said that moment happened while he was on a detox in the Bahamas, as prescribed by his personal doctor in 2014.

The 58-year-old actor said his ex-wife had accompanied him to the islands so that he could stay there when medical experts were not available like in the morning.

According to Depp, he would have to ask Amber for her medicine at some point during her detox and described the moment in which he refused to give her meds.

Pirates of the Caribbean said: "It was the lowest I ever felt as a human, because I had to say please. Please can I get the meds, because it's really kicking. She was adamant . .. it's not the time."

The actor said that he was begging her and "crying while sitting on the floor" before rolling off the couch.

He told the court that there were "tears running down his face" and that he was "begging another human being to please give me the medicine that will take it away".

Johnny Depp said he then took a brisk hot shower as a way to 'cheat' his body into dealing with his body pain, not that his body had withdrawal symptoms.
