Prince Harry, Meghan Markle reacted 'devastating' to negative press: Experts

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tendency to take legal route against British tabloids is 'disastrous'

A royal writer has called Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tendency to always take the legal route against British tabloids 'disastrous'.

In her latest interview with The Telegraph, Royal writer Tina Brown said both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex need to do less with legal threats and they 'do not know' how to silence the negative publicity.

According to Brown, "waging war with the British media is a lost cause," and only Prince Harry and Meghan will 'suffer'.

"It's unfortunate that Meghan Markle is as belligerent about it as Prince Harry," Brown said.

Brown then compared Harry and Meghan's handling of negative press to that of Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, who Brown says is 'cool'.

"Kate and William take each other very quiet and that's why their marriage works so well that way," she said.

Brown, on the other hand, added: "Both Harry and Meghan are very defensive and wind up with each other."
