Prince Harry 'secretly' visited Queen in Prince William's absence: Experts

Prince Harry slammed by royal experts for secretly meeting Queen Elizabeth in William's absence

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's secret visit to Queen Elizabeth last week is being slammed by royal commentators, especially after Harry's comments in a recent NBC interview were also slammed.

GB News presenter Eamon Holmes drew some heavy criticism from Prince Harry in the wake of the Duke of Sussex's latest interview with NBC News, in which he shared details of his visit to the Queen and said he wanted to "protect" her.

Harry's visit is also said to be the reason behind the Palace raising the Sussexes' invitation to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.

Commenting on the same with fellow presenter Isabel Webster, Eamonn said: "He's bringing a book where he's going to kill Camilla and probably William and her father. How on earth... they put her on the balcony and put her on her Why don't you throw it together?"

Eamon also referred to Harry's wife Meghan as 'Princess Pinocchio', a nickname given to her by Piers Morgan.

He added: "...and the timid nature they came to the country last week, they go to see the queen."

The presenter also rejected Harry's statement about protecting the Queen, saying: "He wants to make sure he has the right people around, which obviously doesn't include him because he was scared. "
