Dr Shola wants the royal family to 'apologise' for their visits to the colony

Queen asked to recreate Royal Family's trips around the world

Dr Shola said in a brutal new interview that the Queen is told to tread carefully as she sends her family on various royal tours.

The expert admitted that the reception of Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex this week in St Lucia was not surprising.

Dr Shola told Sky News: "Absolutely I'm not surprised!

“But I am saying, two years ago we had a massive global black life protest, right.

“We are having conversations on various issues regarding racial injustice and social injustice in this country.

"How can you tell me that in 2022, the children of the common emperor, the grandson of the current emperor, are not within the present consciousness.

Prior to this, Prince William and Kate Middleton had only visited Jamaica to meet anti-monarchy protests.

Dr Shola said: "That when they go on a journey like this, they should go humbly.

"And they must be ready, to apologize, they must be ready to appear ...

"And present a look where they say look it's not just about outreach it's about truth.

"It's about reconciliation and it's about justice.

"If they weren't prepared to do that, what were they doing in those countries, except to represent the British Empire, which is quite frankly dead."
