A discovered blog post from Meghan Markle's old blog The Tig hints that the Duchess of Sussex was aware of the royal family prior to meeting Prince Harry, despite telling Oprah Winfrey that she didn't know much about them.
According to Express UK, an old post from the now-defunct blog of the now-defunct Duchess of Sussex has revealed that she was very aware of the 'fanfare' that comes with royal life, despite she married Oprah Winfrey in 2021 In his explosive statement, he told that he did not research much about the family.
In a blog post shared in 2014, two years before Meghan met Harry on a blind date, the former Suits actress wrote: "Little girls dream of being princesses. I am, for one, the princess of power She-Ra was about.
She continued: "And grown-up women retain this childhood fantasy. Look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and the endless conversation about Princess Kate."
The reveal of the blog came after Meghan denied knowing much about the royal family before meeting Prince Harry on more than one occasion.
In her engagement interview in 2017, Meghan said she 'didn't know how famous Harry was in the UK', and later in her Oprah interview, she said she 'researched much into the royals' before marrying Harry did not do'.
"Thank god I didn't know much about the family. Thank god I didn't do the research. I would have been in my head about it," she had claimed.
