Bella Hadid admits to 'going back' to the men and women who abused her in the past

Bella Hadid recently clarified to admit her habit of 'pleasing people', which prompted her to 'constantly' go back to the people who abused her.

During her first podcast interview with Amanda de Cadet, the 25-year-old model discussed her childhood and unhealthy relationships.

She revealed that she learned an important lesson from her past, as she expressed, "I constantly went back to the men and women who abused me and that's where the pleasing guys came from."

Hadid explained, "I didn't start boundaries — not only sexually, physically, emotionally but then it moved into my work space."

She also witnessed the challenging phase of her childhood when she was 'never heard'.

"I grew up around men—whether in relationships or family or whatever—where I was constantly told that my voice was less important than their voice," she said.

Hadid, who dated The Weeknd, said that her nature of 'not keeping boundaries' had a huge impact on their relationships.

"Then moving into growing relationships, and not having the limits of being able to fend for myself and have my voice heard, affected me very intensely in my adult relationships, where my nervous system came crashing down. This fight Or there was flight,” she said.
