BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan: A well-known investigative journalist in former Soviet Kyrgyzstan has been charged with drug possession, police said on Sunday, days after releasing an investigation into the fuel business of a powerful political family.
Bolot Temirov, whose YouTube channel Temirov Live is known for its anti-corruption investigations, was detained by police on Saturday night after a media outlet's office was raided.
