WEF data shows Pakistan's price score on over 148 indicators

ISLAMABAD: The World Economic Forum shared its executive opinion data with Country Partner Institute, Mishal Pakistan, and the data shows Pakistan's price scores on over 148 indicators.

The Survey is an invaluable and unique source of high quality perception data providing a globally comparable proxy for important aspects of socio-economic development. The data indicates that Pakistan has shown tremendous progress and achievements made by the government for future-oriented policies and approaches. The short-term and long-term vision of the government has improved as it stands at 4.42 this year from 3.88 last year.

The personal dynamism of the top leadership in the country has also played an important role in changing the perception of Pakistan. Pakistan through its Ehsaas program has shown global leadership in placing greater emphasis on human dignity and social capital values.

The only solution Pakistan has found (coronavirus) is a smart lockdown, which allows economic activities with standard operating procedure. Pakistan is one of the pioneers of this approach. The world widely acknowledged Pakistan's anti-Covid efforts through its smart lockdown strategy, primarily focused on balancing life and livelihood.

The government's vision of providing universal health services through health cards to address people's issues related to health and environment-friendly initiatives for a clean and green Pakistan is unprecedented in the history of the region. Pakistan's top anti-corruption organization, NAB has taken several steps to curb corruption under the current management, the results of which are starting to show.

During 2021 NAB processed 30405 complaints, 1681 complaint verifications, 1326 enquiries, authorized 496 investigations and recovered Rs 323 billion directly and indirectly in 2020, which is a remarkable achievement as compared to previous years of NAB.

Due to NAB's effective communication strategy, people are now more aware of corruption and ill-effects of corrupt practices.
