World governing body FIFA said that Russia would be barred from hosting the matches and they must play under the banner of the "Football Federation of Russia" without the national flag or their anthem playing.
The country's football federation said on Sunday that England would not play international matches against Russian teams at any level "for the foreseeable future" following the invasion of Ukraine.
The Duke of Cambridge Prince William is the current President of the Football Association of England.
The decision came after Poland, Sweden and the Czech Republic - all future or potential opponents of Russia in World Cup qualifying - announced that they would refuse to play Russia at any venue.
The FA statement read: "In solidarity with Ukraine and wholeheartedly condemning the atrocities perpetrated by the Russian leadership, the FA can confirm that we will not play against Russia in any international fixtures for the foreseeable future.
"This includes any possible match at any level of senior, age group or para football."
