Prince William's reaction to a fake news
Meghan Markle's friend and "Finding Freedom" author Omid Scobie has been accused of slandering Prince William, who reportedly said Britons are "more used to seeing conflict in Africa and Asia". Huh."

Scobie, who is also royal editor at Harper's Bazaar magazine, said royal reporter Richard Palmer, who recorded the alleged remarks in Britain's press pool, tweeted an apology.
She added that as the only journalist to cover Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal activity, Palmer's only job was to share reporting to outlets that were not present.
“Without the pool system there would be no royal beatings,” he said, adding that regardless of its origins, the spread of the false quote is now being leveled at him and other journalists.
Scobie said, “For those who don’t know… the Press Association is the only agency that has full access to every royal engagement and event (pictures and words). It is often their reporting – subscribed by hundreds of news outlets - that guides. Coverage of the royal family around the world."
