BTS is not disbanding: Manager clears up confusion

The BTS representative clarified that the group would be 'active in various formats' during this time.

BTS fans were recently reassured by Septet's manager, who cleared up confusion about the group's future due to a mistranslation of his statement.

The K-pop boy band created massive buzz among fans on Tuesday when it was announced to take a break as a group to pursue solo projects.

However, HYBE's management team cleared up the confusion on Thursday that the Butters hitmakers "are not on hiatus, but it will take time to explore some solo projects and be active in different formats at the moment," The Post reported.

Meanwhile, the group's leader, Kim Nam-joon, better known as RM, focused on going it alone to grow as a people.

"I always thought BTS was different from other groups, but the problem with K-pop and the whole idol system is that they don't give you time to mature. You have to keep making music and keep doing something, He said in a video.

“We can't help but think about our fans, no matter what, we want to be the kind of artist who is remembered by our fans. I think now we're starting to think about what kind of artists we want to be remembered by our fans," member Jimin said.

"I think that's why we're going through a difficult period right now, we're trying to find our identity and it's a tedious and lengthy process," he continued.
