'Royal chefs' unwilling to welcome Meghan Markle to their restaurant like Queen Elizabeth
British tabloids and some newspapers have been publishing articles about Meghan Markle religiously since she married Prince Harry.
She fell out of favor with the press after being held responsible for Harry's decision to step down from royal duties and move to America.
The Daily Mail on Friday published an interview with renowned chef Richard Corrigan, who was asked about his reaction to whether the Duchess of Sussex ever planned to eat at his restaurant.
Speaking to the newspaper, he said Queen Elizabeth did the red carpet at her restaurant, but he wouldn't do the same for Meghan Markle.
In a conversation with the Daily Mail, he was asked if he would cook for the Duchess of Sussex.
He said, "I cooked for the queen for free. And I would cook for anyone, but some people have to pay."
"I would definitely let her (Meghan Markle) go to the restaurant, but the Queen rolled the red carpet. Will Meghan? I don't think so."
Meghan Markle moved to the US with her husband Prince Harry and children after stepping down from her royal duties.
The Duchess of Sussex rarely receives favorable coverage in the British media since her departure from the United Kingdom.
