Daniel Craig contracted the coronavirus

According to reports, James Bond actor Daniel Craig has tested positive for COVID-19.

Craig, 54, who most recently appeared in his last film as a British secret agent in "No Time to Die," is starring in Macbeth alongside Ruth Negga on Broadway.

People.com reported that his performance has been canceled due to the actor contracting the coronavirus.

In a statement from the production's official Twitter account, Craig's positive results and subsequent cancellation of the play were revealed less than two hours before its Saturday matinee performance.
