Emma Heming Willis is trying to keep it together for her family after husband Bruce Willis's brain disorder diagnosis.
An insider told People Magazine that while the actor's diagnosis with aphasia has been 'difficult' for the model, "it's not easy watching a spouse decline."
The source then went on to talk about the Unbreakable actor's youngest daughters Evelyn and Mabel, whom he shares with Emma.
The insider added, "Their girls are still so young, Emma has to put it together for them."
"Emma is working with a number of professionals to help her husband," the source reveals, adding that they have arranged for the retired actor to see the best doctors.
The insider added, "She has a helper at home to make sure she's safe, but Emma takes care of her too."
The source concluded, "Since Bruce is older than Emma, they knew his health could decline sooner than that." "Still, her diagnosis has been shocking to her."
