'Before trial began, these claims were absurd,' Kardashian-Jenner family lawyer claims in court
Model Blac Chyna's defamation lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner family continues.
Following Kris and Kylie Jenner's testimony in court, the reality TV famous family has asked the Los Angeles Superior Court to dismiss Chyna's claims of economic and emotional distress.
As PEOPLE reported, attorney-at-law Michael G. Rhodes, representing the Kardashian-Jenner family in the case, claimed that Chyna offered "no documentary evidence, economic analysis or expert testimony" to support her claims. Haven't.
“Before the trial began, these claims were absurd,” said Rhodes, “now that the plaintiff has testified in its entirety, and has no additional testimony or evidence to present at his loss, the defendant respectfully submit that entering such a directive would be a grossly inadequate diagnosis."
"Unsupported and wildly speculative claims for damages to Ms. White should not be allowed to go to the jury," Rhodes argued.
According to the document, Chyna, 33, admitted in her testimony that she "greatly appreciated" Chris, 66, for his efforts to get Rob and Chyna to air and provide him with a place to live.
She also admitted that her reputation was hurt "most" by her ex, Rob Kardashian, who is not named in her claims for pecuniary damages.
