Kate Middleton shares three children with heir to the throne, Prince William
Kate Middleton, who is famous for having children, suffered a lot during her pregnancy.
The Duchess of Cambridge has often teased husband Prince William over welcoming a fourth child, the latest during a visit to Copenhagen.
However, royal biographer Penny Juni states in her 2018 Netflix documentary 'The Royal Wives of Windsor' that the Duchess has had a really difficult pregnancy.
She added: "Kate is suffering from very severe morning sickness which is absolutely debilitating."
This position was also confirmed by Kensington Palace when Kate had to cancel a public engagement in 2017 while pregnant with Prince Louis.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child.
“The Queen and members of both the families are happy with this news. Like her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess suffers from hyperemesis gravidarum.
"Her Royal Highness will no longer complete her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children's Center in London.
"The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace," read the Palace statement.
In the 2020 podcast, Kate sheds further light on her condition, noting how meditation has helped her along the way.
She said: "I really saw the power of it, the meditation and deep breathing and things like that that they teach you in hypnosis, when I was really sick.
"I realized it was something I could control during labor, I guess. It was extremely powerful."
