Prince Charles' latest announcement on April 11 has raised hopes of him finally meeting Lillibet
Prince Charles' latest announcement on April 11 has raised hopes of meeting his granddaughter, Lillibet; The Prince of Wales will visit Canada in May.
According to reports, Charles and Camilla are scheduled to visit Newfoundland, Labrador, Ottawa and the Northwest Territories to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee year.
With this announcement, Charles and Camilla's hopes of meeting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter Lillibet have risen for the first time, as Harry and Meghan currently live in the US after relocating in 2020.
Despite the considerable distance between Canada and the Montecito residence of Harry and Meghan, it is pertinent to note that flights from Toronto take about five hours while flights from Vancouver will land in the US in four hours.
If Prince Charles is reunited with his son in America, he will be meeting Lillibet, who was born in 2021, for the first time.
