Queen Elizabeth spends Easter with Princess Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew

Queen Elizabeth missed Easter service, however, she was visited by Princess Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew

Queen Elizabeth missed the annual Easter Sunday service, however, as Prince Andrew's daughter Princess Beatrice and her family visited her.

This was reported by OK! Magazine that the 95-year-old Queen was visited by Beatrice, her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, their daughter Sienna and Edoardo's son Wolfie at Windsor Castle on Easter Day.

The visit meant that Beatrice and Edoardo's seven-month-old daughter Sienna celebrated her first Easter with her great-grandmother.

It is well known that Beatrice has a close relationship with Queen Elizabeth, whom she once called her role model in life with her mother Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew's ex-wife.

Beatrice and the Queen are said to be so close that the emperor even gifted Beatrice his wedding tiara for Edoardo to wear at her wedding.

The Queen notably missed the Easter service, where Prince Charles and Camilla stepped in for her because of her growing health struggles.
