Jesy Nelson reacts to solo debut album concern fans will hear new music 'soon'

Jesy Nelson hits back at claims his debut solo album would be delayed

Jesy Nelson shrugged off speculation that his solo debut album had been delayed after failing to impress record label owners.

The former Little Mix member denied that his handful of demos ran into difficulties in Los Angeles.

A source told the Daily Mail, "In recent months, Jessie has been developing her body of work with a full range of tracks at studio recordings in Los Angeles, and fans can rest assured that they will soon meet Jesse. Looking forward to hearing new music." ,

The Sun previously reported that her label boss had asked her to 'go back to the drawing board'.

"Jesse has worked incredibly hard on her solo music. After releasing Boyz last year, she let the label listen to early versions of the songs she came up with.

"The owners felt there was potential but wanted it to go back to the drawing board. They thought it would benefit the tracks - so that's what he did.

As the outlet reports, "She's determined to only play them new music when it's perfect, so they haven't heard any more since."
