Ewan McGregor condemns Star Wars fans for racism against Moses Ingram: VIDEO

Ewan McGregor speaks out in favor of Obi-Wan Kenobi star Moses Ingram against online racist attacks

Ewan McGregor recently lashed out at Star Wars fans for sending sinister, racist messages to his co-star Moses Ingram on social media.

Musa, who debuted as Rewa Sewanda in the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series, revealed on Monday that she has been receiving racist, bigoted messages online since the show aired last week.

On Tuesday, the Star Wars franchise posted a video message of Evan on Instagram and Twitter in which he defended the 29-year-old, saying "there is no place for racism in this world".

Evan commented, "Looks like some fan base has decided to attack Moses Ingram online and send him the most horrifying, racist DMs ever. I heard some of them this morning and it broke my heart."

Ivan praised Moses for his exceptional performance in the series.

"She's a fantastic actor, a fantastic woman and absolutely amazing in this series," adding that he "was sick to the stomach to learn that this was happening to her".

In the clip, the actor insisted, "I want to say, as the lead actor in the series, as the executive producer of the series, that we stand with Moses."

He continued, "We love Moses, and if you're sending him bully messages, you're not a Star Wars fan in my mind."
