After making a controversial statement on Rwanda, there is a sharp attack on Prince Charles.
The United Kingdom's Home Secretary, Priti Patel, in April announced the deportation of illegal migrants coming back to Rwanda in the country. However, the Prince of Wales opposed the decision, terming the approach "horrendous".
A royal source told the Times: "He said he was more disappointed with the policy.
“He said he thinks the whole approach of the government is appalling. It was clear that he was not impressed with the direction of the government’s travel.”
Opposing Charles' response to the agreement, Brexiteer Nile Gardiner tweeted: "Prince Charles is sending a completely wrong message on the Rwanda migrant scheme, which will act as a strong deterrent to illegal immigration from France, which That is excessive economic migration.
"Wrong approach for even a senior royal to comment on government policy."
Meanwhile, Nigel Farage said: "Unless Prince Charles wants to destroy the monarchy, it is better to remain increasingly silent."
