
According to a senior royal correspondent, after reports of Prince Charles receiving €3 million in cash from a former Qatari prime minister between 2011-15, a source said the charity commission had not launched an investigation.
A senior palace aide said Prince Charles would "never again" accept bags of cash for his charity.
Last weekend, the Sunday Times reported that Prince Charles received a total of €3 million (£2.6 million) in cash donations to one of his charities between 2011 and 2015.
Now a senior royal source in the prince's office has insisted this will not happen again.
