Sam Asghari's ex-girlfriend Myra Veronica applauded the newlyweds after tying the knot with Britney Spears in an intimate wedding on Thursday.
In an interview with TMZ, the 41-year-old singer and model lashed out at her ex-boyfriend, saying he's not one to flirt.
"I think Sam would be a wonderful husband," the media personality told the outlet. "She's not the cheating type or the flirting type, she's very dedicated, very supportive."
He then said that the personal trainer and his new wife seemed to be a healthy couple as he noted that he only saw "good things to be honest".
Veronica continued, "When I dated Sam, I was in the same position as Britney." "I was being controlled by my management and you and he came into the picture when I was trying to break away from all that."
She further praised Asghari saying, “I think he really helped. He is very understanding, he is very supportive. So, I think that's what [Spears] needed at the time, that's what he still needs.
"I think they're a perfect match, to be honest... he'll eventually take good care of her no matter what," she said.
Veronica said that Asgari is "the kind of guy who will always be supportive and be there for her."
Concluding her statement, she explained that Asgari is a family man, "I think Sam would be a great father, he would have time to dedicate himself to the children ... he has a kind heart."
