Prince William 'desperate' to change royal rules 'never complain': report

Prince William's Jamaica speech 'proves' he understands Queen's 'never complain' rule that 'needs to change'

Royal experts revealed that Prince William "already recognized" the growing need to change the centuries-old rule without complaint from Queen Elizabeth.

This claim has been made by Pauline McLaren, Professor of Marketing and Consumer Research at Royal Holloway.

According to Express UK, he was quoted as saying, "I think he believes there is a need for change because it is such a public relations sport these days."

"More than when the Queen took office," she added in her interview.

"Now it all depends on how you brand yourself, what gets picked up by the media and what isn't, and you need to be very aware of that."

"Also the public expects to see the type of human touch behind the mask. I think we demand more and more explanation."

Before concluding, he said, "But William is willing to give more of himself in that regard and I think it's the right move."
