After working with Tom Cruise on Top Gun: Maverick, Danny Ramirez calls the actor his mentor


Top Gun: Maverick actor Danny Ramirez described Tom Cruise as a mentor to other actors and crew members in a recent interview, in which he also gave details about his experience with the A-lister.

Sharing the secret to audiences loving every Tom Cruise film so much in an interview with Fox News, Danny explained, "I think that's why his movies are so well received... He has an audience in his mind."

Ramirez said: "It's a responsibility like people who are giving their two hours. And every year they have a movie that millions of people go to see."

"And so that the hours people are entrusting with making this adventure happen, he passed her and has been a mentor ever since."

The Silo star shares that he had a fanboy moment starring opposite the Mission Impossible actor

Ramirez shared what he did with Cruz to prepare for his role in Top Gun, saying it "has been one of the most amazing experiences" compared to academics, adding, "It seems That's what we went on to get our master's degree and our doctorate."

He continued: "Whenever I have a project that I'm developing, he gives me notes and the like, he replies faster than Jay [Ellis] or Glenn [Powell]."
