Mike Tindall recently revealed his back story by giving an 'I'm watching you' gesture to Prince Louis at the Platinum Jubilee pageant, as the moment went viral on social media.
During his appearance on The Good, the Bad and the Rugby podcast, the former rugby player spilled the beans on the viral photo as his co-host James Haskell joked about 'putting the future king's kids in line' .
“Tins wears a hat, he goes up to 100,000,” cohost Alex Payne said before asking, “What were you really doing at that point?”
"I really can't remember, I can't remember what he was doing," replied Mike. "She's such a good character, Louie."
"Those who have no chance of being in the mix are always the best characters," Haskell said.
During his talk on the June 5 episode of the podcast, the 43-year-old talked about sitting in the front row of the pageant.
"It's hard for them. They're all young. It's a long time," said the athlete. "But as any parent knows, you just do what needs to be done."
He continued, "Louis, he just wanted to have fun. And my two [daughters, Mia and Lena] are always naughty, so it's worth trying to keep a lid on. There were a lot of sweets though, so there was one." Real sugar high."
