Jawad was served a show cause notice and was asked to explain his position within seven days of receiving the notice, but he did not respond to the notice, read the statement.
On January 19, 2022, he was given a final show-cause notice to explain his position within three days of receiving the notice, PTI said, adding that Jawad submitted his response on January 22, but he did not explain his position. Admitted that he had issued over forty (40) tweets while SCAD took note of only two of his tweets.
The committee found that instead of expressing his sentiments at various fora in the party, Jawad used social, electronic and print media to malign his cause/defame the party, and the senior leadership caused serious damage to the party. .
Reacting to the verdict, Jawad wrote on his Twitter handle: "A waste house that started out as an ideology of change."
Terming the party's ideology of change as a "hoax", he said it had ruined two decades of this country.
"You can walk a hard road with your eyes open, but you'll fall on a flat road with your eyes closed," he said.
