Lahore: After so many fruitless meetings with the representatives of the federal and provincial governments, the Pakistan Kisan Ittehad (PKI) was forced to hold protests in Multan on February 14, followed by Khalid Mahmud, in all the districts and provincial and federal capitals. Khokhar, the President said PKI, here on Saturday.
He said that on February 14, along with farmers in Multan, cattle, poultry, fish and children of farmers would also join the protest.

He said that neither farmers nor their animals get loan from IMF, then why their life is being made difficult on the basis of IMF conditions. So this is a unique protest where farmers and their animals will take part in the protest.
