Lahore: A special court on Thursday granted interim bail to Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif and Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz till February 1.
The court granted bail to the accused involved in a money laundering case on a surety of Rs 200,000. The above matter was transferred from a banking court to a special court Central. Hamza appeared before the court, while lawyers informed the court that Shahbaz was present outside in a vehicle and could not appear due to COVID disease and public safety. While hearing the lawyers, the court exempted Shahbaz from appearing in the court.
