Prince William, Kate Middleton to follow David Beckham's 'Hollywood' style

Prince William, Kate Middleton are tipped to follow in David Beckham's footsteps for 'Hollywood-esque' image

As Express UK reports, Prince William and wife Kate Middleton are set to follow in football legend David Beckham's footsteps, are they set to take a more 'Hollywood-esque' approach to their media image.

After David handed over control of his Instagram to a Ukrainian doctor in an effort to highlight the dire situation in the war-torn country, culture expert Nick Ade commented that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge could be expected to follow suit.

Ed told Express UK: "I think they'll be more likely to do Hollywood-esque films that are going to be edited really well, made by great editors. But I think they are, too. Could do something like David Beckham did when he gave his Instagram to someone in Ukraine to talk about his plight."

According to Ed, social media will become increasingly important to the royal family as they aim to "engage new audiences".

He continued: "He has to be a lot more fair than an influencer, but I think he can tell stories in a really good strategic way and really educate us."

Ed also shared: "Strategizing social media is really their best form of becoming an attractive couple that people can relate to. That's the most important thing - not just still images and reportage."

“It is really important for him to move on and play the role of monarchy in Britain and beyond. For me this is really his way forward,” he continued.

Ed concluded: "If you think about a royal family, they're usually a little older, and when the Queen passes away, we'll have to see what the role of the royal family is and how they Can relate. But still encourage tourism and all the wonderful things they do."
