Boris Johnson's warm wishes to the Queen on Platinum Jubilee

Queen Elizabeth became emperor at the age of 25

Queen Elizabeth is set to celebrate 70 glorious years as Britain's monarch.

The 95-year-old is expected to start his day with a special greeting from British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

A No. 10 source said: 'You can expect the prime minister to praise Her Majesty's tireless service and historic governance to mark the occasion.'

Mr Johnson told lawmakers earlier this week: "While this is a moment of national celebration, it will be a day of mixed feelings for Her Majesty as the day marks 70 years since the death of her beloved father, George VI."

He continued: "I know the whole House would like to join me in thanking Her Majesty for her tireless service."

"We look forward to celebrating his historic reign in June with a series of national events," he said.
