BTS' Jimin recovers from Covid-19, discharged from hospital after appendicitis surgery

 Jimin recently tested positive for Covid-19 and also underwent acute appendicitis surgery



BTS's management agency Big Hit Music confirmed that Jimin has been discharged from the hospital after making a full recovery from COVID-19 and acute appendicitis surgery.

On February 5, the agency extended a statement to reveal that the 26-year-old K-pop idol had ended his quarantine.

"Hello. It's Bigit Music. We'd like to inform you that BTS member Jimin's quarantine has ended this morning (February 5) following his surgery for acute appendicitis," the statement read.

It also said, "(Jimin) received inpatient care and tested negative in his PCR test before being discharged from the hospital."

“Jimin did not show any unusual symptoms during his hospital stay. He had a mild sore throat at the time of his admission, but has since made a full recovery,” the company added.

“We also got a message from the medical staff that his surgical site is recovering quickly without any problems. Jimin is currently recovering after being discharged from the hospital."

In addition, the record label also expressed its gratitude to the official fandom of the ARMY-Group, wishing Jimin a speedy recovery.

On January 31, Septate's management agency announced that the Filter singer had contracted the virus and had undergone appendicitis surgery the day before.
