Kangana Ranaut recently slammed a journalist for mentioning Deepika Padukone's controversy at the launch event of Queen star's reality show Lock Up.
Reporters attempted to inquire about the actor from Tanu Weds Manu, with an influencer commenting on Padukone's wardrobe in Gehriyaan.
"Look, I'm here to defend those who can't defend themselves. OK?" reprimanded the actor. "She can defend herself. He has the privilege, the platform and I cannot promote his film here. sit down."
When the journalist expressed his intention not to promote a film, Ranaut argued, "Of course, you named the film. You are also naming a film which is coming up. Obviously, you are being charged by the PR of the said film."
"I'm not that gullible. Take it out, I'll talk with you for 45 minutes," she said.
Referring to his infamous argument with a journalist in 2019, the Thalaivi actor said, “You know, this is an old trick. The last time I was banned by the media in the same press conference, it didn't work. So please sit down."
