Lil Nas X missing on social media since COVID-19 update in December sparks concern

As reported by The New York Post, Lil Nas X has left fans and followers worried after it was announced that he disappeared from social media in December 2021.

The Monteiro (Call Me By Your Name) singer, who is usually very active on social media, last posted on his Twitter and Instagram on 6 December with Billboard reporting that he last tweeted on 17 December and Then removed it.

According to the publication, Nas's deleted tweet said, "COVID really sucks."

The tweet came almost a week after the 22-year-old Old Town Road hitmaker walked out of the Capitals FM jingle ball, citing his team catching COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the New York Post reported that the last public appearance of Lil Nas X took place on December 10 at the iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball 2021 in New York.

His absence, of course, garnered considerable backlash on Twitter and Instagram, with fans and followers inquiring about him in tweets that ranged from the blunt, "Where's Lil Nas X?" To a few concerned ones like, "You haven't tweeted in 2 months, hope you're fine."

Many are also concerned about his health, citing a possible connection between his last COVID tweet and his subsequent disappearance.
