Apple, as always, has a bunch of new products in the works, and a source claims that the iPhone SE 3, iPad Air 5, and possibly a new Mac will also be unveiled at an event on March 8.
According to Bloomberg, Apple plans to unveil shiny new gadgets on "or near" March 8. That's according to "people with knowledge of the matter," and Bloomberg's Apple predictions are generally accurate.
The usual caveats apply, which states that these plans may change in the future, but it appears the next Apple event will take place in early March. In April last year, it held an event in which it unveiled a new iPad Pro and an iMac.
Plenty of new products
Bloomberg reports that Apple will include 5G in both the iPhone SE 3 and iPad Air 5, confirming a previous rumor. The iPhone SE was last updated in April 2020, and the iPad Air was updated in October of the same year.
The chances of some sort of new Mac are slim, according to the report, but it could also arrive "as early as March." We're expecting several new Macs in 2022, so it can be difficult to determine which one it is.

Analysis: Apple's mid-range devices get some love

When the iPhone SE 3 is released, it is expected to come with 5G and OLED display. The design is expected to be similar to the previous model, with chunky bezels on the top and bottom and the venerable home button.
In the meantime, the iPad Air 5 is making a strong case for not spending more money on the iPad Pro. The iPad Air, like the iPhone SE 3, is expected to get a 10.9-inch screen in 2022.
