Reports suggest that as Kylian Mbappe is 'set' to leave for Real Madrid in the summer, PSG are now eyeing Borussia Dortmund's world-class forward Erling Haaland.
Last week, it was rumored that PSG forward Kylian Mbappe has already signed a contract with Spanish giants Real Madrid. The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent years and has spoken to Liverpool officials about coming to Anfield in the past.
Despite reports of a big catch by Madrid, the player himself has rubbished the speculations surrounding him. Mbappe spoke to Prime Video Sport France about moving to La Liga.
"No, I haven't decided on the future. Playing against Real Madrid in the Champions League changes a lot.
"Even if I'm free to do whatever I want at the moment, I'm not going to talk to an opponent or do that sort of thing.
If PSG were to lose further to the superstar, they would be looking to replace him immediately. Known for their huge transfer deals, the leaders of Ligue 1 are reported to be continuing the trend they set. According to HITC, PSG has turned its attention to Norwegian star Erling Haaland.
Borussia Dortmund's No. 9 has had an off- and on-season run in the Bundesliga so far, missing several matches due to injury. Despite not having much playing time, Haaland has not dwindled in performance and goal statistics.
Liverpool will be one of several clubs this year to attempt to take the striker away from Germany, but who will do so?
