AEW Dynamite February 2 results: Long-awaited CM Punk-MJF clash, Jon Moxley-Wheeler Utah duel

 


The February 2 edition of AEW Dynamite finally saw the long-awaited clash between CM Punk and MJF. The two fought in a grudge match that was a product of months of verbal warfare in the making. Elsewhere in the show, Jon Moxley duel against Wheeler Utah, while Malakai Black and Brody King took on Death Triangle's Pac and Penta El Zero Mido. Ruby Soho and Nayla Rose had a rematch at the AEW TBS Championship Tournament and others.

Jon Moxley vs. Wheeler Utah: In Wednesday's first match of AEW Dynamite, Moxley put Utah away for a pinfall victory with Paradigm Shift. After the match, Brian Danielson confronted Moxley and proposed to work together, asking Moxley to think about it before leaving the microphone.

Death Triangle vs. Knights of the Black Throne: The newly named Knights of the Black Throne (Malachi Black and Brody King) beat Penta El Zero Mido and Pac of Death Triangle in a tag team contest when Black puts Black Mist in Penta's eyes. Blown away, set him up for Dante's Inferno to win.
