Karachi: After the conclusion of the five-match T20I series between England and West Indies, six more English players arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday to join their respective teams during the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Quetta Gladiators manager Azam Khan told Geo News that players will have to compulsorily stay in three-day quarantine as per the instructions of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
On arrival in Karachi, James Vince underwent a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and the results came back negative, he said. Azam Khan said that he has immediately joined his squad, adding that as per rules if someone has been COVID-19 positive during the last 28 days, his isolation is not mandatory.
He said that James Vince will take part in the practice session this evening.
The manager of the Gladiators further said that Jason Roy has also reached Pakistan, however, he will be in quarantine as per the COVID-19 protocol set by the cricket board.
Meanwhile, Harry Brooke and Phil Salt of Lahore Qalandars, Saqib Mahmood of Peshawar Zalmi and Chris Jordan of Karachi Kings have also arrived in the country.
