Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli has revealed that his wife Anushka Sharma has a special connection to the franchise's home city Bengaluru, as does hers.
According to the trailer of 'RCB Podcast' released on Wednesday, Kohli said that Anushka has spent more time in the city than she has spent in the city. He said that the famous actress grew up in Bangalore and the on-field performances of Royal Challengers Bangalore had an impact on her as well.
Kohli also mentioned that captaining RCB and spending time here was always a plus for him and it felt like "things come together" for him as it allowed Anushka to relive her childhood. According to the 33-year-old:
"She was born and brought up in Bangalore." There, he's an adult. Very few people know that he has spent more time in Bangalore than me. He already has a deep connection with the city. The former India captain said the city had a "strong influence" on his life when asked about his own experience with it. When Kohli visits Bengaluru, he says he feels comfortable. he adds,

Kohli's former opening partner Devdutt Padikkal also spoke about his batting experience with the legendary batsman in the same video. Because Kohli is the center of attention, Padikkal said teaming up with him is "very easy". According to Southpaw, the chance to share his knowledge with Kohli in the middle is "priceless".
The young man explained:
