To commemorate the careers of two legendary players, YouTuber Lorenzo F7 created the engaging documentary 'Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi • The End Is Near'.
A video of the year 2020 has recently surfaced again on the internet. It depicts the development of both Ronaldo and Messi from their childhood till the present day. Both played for Sporting CP and Newells Old Boys, before making his big moves to Manchester United and Barcelona.
Their rivalry flared up in the summer of 2009 when Ronaldo signed for Real Madrid for a world-record fee of £80 million. While they were playing for rival clubs in Spain, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo began competing for the La Liga title, the Ballon d'Or and the Golden Boots.
With the pair now in their late 30s, it's safe to say that their careers are coming to an end. At the end of the documentary the narrator pays tribute to the careers of both by saying:
"Of course, Messi and Ronaldo will be remembered for their legacy and outstanding performance at the clubs where they grew up in football. Years will pass, but we will never forget the magic they did on the field. Everything they did And we can't say anything more than 'thank you' for giving us this wonderful game."
