The expert said the mother-in-law of three had appeared as the queen-in-waiting throughout the tour.

Speaking to FEMAIL, Judy revealed how the Duchess has taken the lead in international travel, proving herself to be 'more than just a wife' to the Duke.

Judy explained: 'It will be difficult to overemphasize the version of Kate we've seen during this royal tour and how important her influence will be on the firm's dynamics in the future.

'Kate Middleton has been slow-moving in terms of royal profile and status, avoiding her role with a cautious, 'steady as she goes' approach, change and drama.
