The Queen's plan to 'stay permanently at Windsor Castle' could be false

The Queen's plan to stay permanently at Windsor Castle could only be negotiated as it is rumored that the monarch may "move between her other houses".

According to royal expert Richard Eden, writing in the Daily Mail, he noted that there was an open vacancy for a housekeeping assistant for Buckingham Palace that was advertised on the Royal Household website.

The ad said the assistant would "look after a wide range of interiors" and added that the role would include "visits to other royal residences".

The comments came after it was reported that the King would "work from home" permanently at Windsor Castle.

Reportedly, the Queen was expecting a future royal engagement from her Berkshire home, where she lived there with Prince Philip until his death in April last year.
