Camilla Parker knows how to save Charles from himself
Royal expert reveals relationship between Camilla Parker and stepson William.
The Duke of Cambridge, who is set to turn 40 in the coming months, says Robert Jobson has his share of disagreements with the future queen consort Camilla.
In his column for the Daily Mail, Jobson explains that William often struggles to understand that he is lower in the royal order than Charles.
"As a senior former member of the Royal Household explains, William sometimes forgets that there is a hierarchy in which he is below his father.' When it comes to his father, it is as if William thinks That he is the direct heir to the throne, at one level.'
"Another well-established source concurs: 'His vocabulary lacks respect when it comes to his father.'
Camilla, however, makes sure that her husband, the future king, is safe under all circumstances, even if it requires him to take a stand against William.
"The Duchess of Cornwall, however, is not as friendly as Charles is toward William, nor as conciliatory as Catherine.
"He is even ready to put William in his place when he feels he is abusing his father's generosity and kindness.
"The truth is, the Duchess feels it's her duty to protect the Prince of Wales from herself sometimes. He's going to be king, and she doesn't mind reminding others in the family over and over again - And this includes his son and heir,' said a courtier.
"Like Charles, Camilla avoids outright confrontation, preferring to take the message home through subtle means.
"Another courtier recalled: 'I remember an occasion when they were leaving Windsor Castle after a joint event, and the Duke of Cambridge had learned that his father had a special escort group for a visit by the police. were outside, as their royal status warranted.
"He asked his father if he and Katherine could stay behind in the convoy, which would make it easier for traffic to pass through.
"The Prince of Wales agreed. But when the Prince and Duchess of Cornwall were kept in wait for several minutes by Prince William and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall insisted that they leave without their eldest son.
"As William and Catherine emerged, all they could see was the blue flashing lights of motorcycles disappearing into the distance." Insider notes.
