Cristiano Ronaldo lost one of his twins during childbirth
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez lost their baby boy this week.
Cristiano and longtime partner Georgina announced the sad news on their Instagram handle on Monday: "It is with our deep sadness that we have to announce that our child has passed away. This is the greatest pain Which any parent can feel.
"Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support.
“We are all devastated by this loss and we kindly ask for privacy during this difficult time.
"Our children, you are our angel. We will love you forever."
The lovebirds were excited to welcome twins into their lives as they announced the good news in October, admitting they are excited to meet the babies.
