John Travolta's 16-year-old son, Jett, died in 2009 after hitting his head on the bathtub following a seizure
John Travolta remembered his late son Jett as he posted an emotional tribute to him on his 30th birthday on social media.
Taking to Instagram, the Face/Off actor dropped a picture with his son as he penned a note for Jett 13 years after his untimely death.
"My dear Jetty, I miss you more than words," wrote the 68-year-old Hollywood star.
"I think of you every day. Happy birthday," he said. "Love, your dad."
In the black and white picture, the father and son are seen happily posing for the camera.
The actor's daughter Ella also commented on the post, "Happy Birthday Jetty, we love you so much."
Travolta's 16-year-old son, whom he shared with late wife Kelly Preston, died in 2009 after hitting his head on a bathtub after suffering a seizure during a family vacation to Grand Bahama Island.
In a previous interview with Us Weekly, Travolta said that the death of his son was the worst thing he had ever done in his life.
The Jerry Maguire actor revealed in an appearance on The Doctors that Jett was autistic.
She had said, "(Jet) was autistic. He had seizures and had Kawasaki syndrome when he was very young.
